Chad Gates, CPA, has earned a promotion to Partner at William Vaughan Company. Since joining the firm in 2015, Chad has established himself as a trusted advisor to closely held businesses, guiding clients through the complexities of tax regulations and compliance. Drawing on his extensive experience across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and restaurants, Chad partners with clients to develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives that drive business growth. Renowned for his approachable manner, he excels at translating intricate tax and accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance, empowering clients to make confident, informed decisions. Chad holds a Master of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University.
Patrick J. Mannion has been promoted to Partner, in recognition of his exceptional leadership of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Under Patrick’s guidance, the practice has established a highly specialized team focused on both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence. Patrick delivers strategic advisory to private equity and corporate clients, expertly supporting them through complex acquisitions, divestitures, and recapitalizations. Leveraging his extensive experience within the M&A industry, Patrick is highly regarded for his ability to assess quality of earnings, cash flow, and net working capital—ensuring that clients are equipped with actionable insights for informed decision-making.
