DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

William Vaughan Company is committed to fostering a culture that is both diverse and inclusive — one that encourages and enables all to be successful. When we can recognize — and celebrate — our many human differences, we’re able to create a workplace where all staff feels a sense of belonging and an opportunity to succeed. This allows us to attract and retain the best talent, serve clients through diverse thinking, and better represent and support the various communities in which we live and work.

WVC DEI Committee

Through our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee (DEI), we strive to promote and embrace diversity and inclusion through education and a culture that leverages our individual unique qualities to drive growth, innovation, and value for our people, our clients, our Firm, our profession, and our communities.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we have aligned ourselves with the Ohio CPA Foundation CPA Camp and the Accounting Careers Awareness Program (ACAP-Ohio) to invest in the future of our profession and commit to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

WVC Women Empowering Women (WEW)

Our firm’s women’s initiative is designed to foster a culture that promotes women in the workplace and provides women with a special platform to share ideas, uncover new insights, connect with one another, and grow together.  Throughout the year, we host a series of workshops focused on leadership, work-life balance, career management, and more.

With women making up about 50% of our professional staff, we are committed to ensuring that all of these women have the opportunity to build rewarding careers. We designed our professional women’s initiative to foster the development of our female professionals at each stage of their careers. – Sandi Towns, CPA – WVC Partner & WEW Leader
