Why did you join William Vaughan Company?

I have been with the firm for 10 years. It was my first job right out of college. I had narrowed down my choice to William Vaughan Company and a large national firm. I found the people at William Vaughan Company to be so friendly and eager to embrace someone new. I knew I could work with a firm like this, and here I am!

What are you most passionate about in your work?

On the tax side, we save real money for clients and have a positive impact on their financial situation. We provide greater financial freedom to enable them to do what they desire with the money they have earned.

What has been your most rewarding client experience?

The work I do with cost segregation studies brings great savings and the appreciation I get from the client is very satisfying. It drives me to do my best so that I can continue to provide similar value to other clients.

What makes William Vaughan Company different?

We look at the big picture compared to other firms who focus on compliance. William Vaughan Company looks at what the client truly needs, wants, and where they will see value. As a result, we produce a product which brings significant value to both our firm and our clients. We truly are all about the client’s well-being.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Spending time with my family, my wife, and three children. I also enjoy golfing. I love tinkering with anything related to technology.

What’s a fun fact few would know about you?

My nickname for most of my life was “Spud” because I grew up on a potato farm. I can always tell how long I have known someone based on their name for me.
