Mark Karchner, CPA is a partner with William Vaughan Company who brings more than 30 years of diversified business experience across multiple industries. Mark provides business management and leadership with advice on financial management and reporting, succession planning, acquisitions, divestitures, operational and business value matters. He takes great pride in doing so in a straight-forward, practical and honest manner developed through substantial, meaningful experience.

Mark began his career at Ernst & Young providing accounting, audit and business advisory services to a wide range of clients. He led the development and growth of the area M&A practice and participated in over 150 M&A, restructuring and succession transactions.

Why did you join William Vaughan Company?

I was part of the 2018 merger between William Vaughan Company & Davenport, Hanf & Company (DHC). More importantly, I joined WVC due to the unmatched opportunity to work with great people contributing to the success of our community.
