Why did you join William Vaughan Company?

I wanted to continue working in public accounting, but at a local firm with great client relationships along with respect and care for its employees.

What are you most passionate about in your work?

Helping my clients and watching them succeed. I love connecting clients with valuable resources that I know can assist them and enable their growth.

What has been your most rewarding client experience?

Initially, I helped a not-for-profit client with their audit – but as we grew our working relationship, they trusted me with other projects and questions throughout the year. I was able to assist them with payroll tax conversion corrections, and I also helped them learn about local grants they were eligible for, along with connecting them to other not-for-profit entities to encourage collaboration.

What makes William Vaughan Company different?

They realize that their employees have a life outside of the firm, even during tax season. They have a family-first culture and help their employees balance work and family life as much as they can. They also stress having fun like no one else I’ve ever seen.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy watching my 16-year-old son play soccer. I also enjoy gardening, crocheting and reading.

What’s a fun fact few would know about you?

My Dad, sister and I have made it an annual tradition to go to a Jimmy Buffett concert every year and have been rocking out since 2012.
