Why did you join William Vaughan Company?
While interviewing with the Company, I realized the strong relationships they had with their clients and among the team was outstanding. In addition, the comradery within the office was at a high level and everyone seemed to be having fun at what they were doing.
What are you most passionate about in your work?
The client relationships I have obtained over the years. I not only look at each relationship as “clients” but more as a friendship that will last a lifetime. I enjoy not only helping those with accounting and consulting expertise, but with personal items as well.
What makes William Vaughan Company different?
The client relationships and team atmosphere are unique here. It is one of the biggest reasons I joined William Vaughan Company. The ability to build strong client relationships is richly rewarding, all while having a very flexible work environment.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Family and friends are a large part of my life. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Danielle, and our kids. I also enjoy riding the Harley, fishing, sports, and cooking. I am an outdoors person.
What’s a fun fact few would know about you?
I was given the nickname “House” when I was in 4th grade by Coach Merillat (my little league baseball coach.) When two opposing players ran into me, in two separate instances, I did not move. Meanwhile they ended up hurt on the ground ... the nickname has stuck with me to this day. Coaches in college, and my teammates called me this, and still do. I am pretty sure of them do not even know my real name. A few co-workers call me this on occasion.
I will probably go to the grave with family, friends, and acquaintances still shouting it out to me … which I am perfectly comfortable with.
